PFI Rubbish provides curbside residential service to the west side of the
Big Island of Hawaii. Currently we are the only residential rubbish hauler in West Hawaii, with ridiculously low rates
for the past 30 years.

Our blue garbage trucks are out six days a week, working all holidays - including Thanksgiving and Christmas Day!  We provide
weekly service to Kailua-Kona, Holualoa, Kainaliu, Honalo, Keauhou, Mauna Lani, Mauna Kea, Kohala Coast, Puu Lani Ranch,
Waikoloa, Waimea, Kealakekua and Captain Cook.

To begin service, please call our office at (808) 329 3440, telling us where you live and we'll
provide you with the service days and rates for that area. Or click start service, submit the form and we will call or email you back.

After we establish your account (with your name, service address, billing address, phone number, service days and deposit)
your service can begin as soon as you are ready.

PFI Rubbish collects only household refuse and small yard trimmings.  Depending on the area you live in we offer either:

  • Automated service – customer is supplied with one **64 gallon wheeled can, which must be placed curbside for our
automated trucks to pickup. Placement details are supplied when the can is delivered. Do not place rubbish on
top of or to the side of the can as it will not be picked up.

  • Manual  service – customer is allowed three large cans or bags of rubbish (30-33 gallons), or two 45-gallon
sized cans. Bags or cans must be placed curbside at the end of your driveway where the driver can easily see
them and take not more than two steps to collect them. Any extra bags are averaged during the course of a month and will be charged
at a rate of $2.00 per extra bag.

Remember all trash needs to be in bags tied at the top - no loose rubbish in the cans please!

** All garbage cans remain the property of PFI Rubbish Service, Inc – if you lose your can a replacement fee will be charged.
