- From Queen Kaahumanu Hwy turn into the Old
Industrial area on Makala Blvd - Turn left on Luhia
- Turn right on Kaiwi Street take the second left
on to Pawai Place. - Look for the third building on the left-hand side
(cream color with blue stripe). Our entrance is
at the front of the building. - Blue door - PFI sign above the entrance.
- Parking is on either side of the street.

| ABOUT PFI RUBBISH SERVICE Owner Bob Platt began hauling trash in 1979 when someone needed help getting rid of their refuse, using a Volvo station wagon with the inside lined in plastic. In 1981 he bought his first truck and began servicing customers in the Kailua-Kona, Holualoa, Kealakekua and Keauhou areas under the name PFI Rubbish Service Inc. In December 1991, rubbish service was then expanded to include Waimea and Waikoloa. Today PFI Rubbish employs six drivers, three office staff and has a fleet of twelve garbage trucks . With a customer base of over 4,000 customers, PFI's distinctive blue trucks can be seen from Kohala Ranch to Middle Keei Road six days a week, including holidays! |
