RATES AND SERVICES The rates for PFI Rubbish Service vary by service area. These rates are for up to THREE large cans or bags of rubbish (30 to 33 gallon size) per pickup or TWO 45-gallon sized cans. Scroll down for more information on Extra Bags, Extra Pickups, Cart Rentals, Vacation Stop and Payments. BILLINGS PFI Rubbish bills basic service and cart rentals in advance of each service period. (i.e. Service for the months of October/November/December is billed in early September, and due in our office by October 1.) Extra bags, extra pickups and special pickups are billed in arrears. (i.e. Extra bags in January will appear on the next bill.) You can choose to be billed Quarterly, Semi-Annually or Yearly, but always in advance. We offer a 10% discount when you pay Yearly and a 5% discount when you pay Semi-Annually. A $30.00 deposit is required before service can begin. |
| EXTRA PICKUPS If you have service once a week but need a pickup on an alternate day, an extra pickup charge may be made. This charge can be $4.00-$10.00, depending on your area and the number of additional pickups. month. | SPECIAL PICKUPS To make arrangements for over-sized items such as furniture, carpeting, cabinets, televisions, desks, beds, numerous boxes, appliances. Please call the office 808 329 3440 Prices start at $40.00 with $1.00 per min for loading and landfill fees. NOTE: for construction/remodeling waste or large amounts of green waste. Please contact other hauling companies for these services. |
| CART RENTALS Cart rentals are available to our customers. Currently we have a 64-gallon cart and a 90-gallon cart. These carts fit the mechanical arm on our trucks. Please call the office for rates 808 329 3440. However, we recommend that you purchase your own cans, either three 30- to 33-gallon size or two 45-gallon size, but do not get the 50-gallon carts! They do not align with the mechanical cart lifter on our trucks. |
| VACATION STOPS A credit can be made on your account if you don't need service on your regular service day. The amount of credit depends the customer's monthly service rate. Customers must call in advance for vacation credit. If the customer does not need service for a month or longer, the account will be put on hold until the customer calls to resume service. |
| PAYMENTS Checks and money orders should be made out to PFI Rubbish Service. Please write your six-digit account number on your check and include your payment stub. You can mail your check or money order (PFI Rubbish, 74-5599 Pawai Place, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740-1615), or drop it off at our office on Pawai Place (if no one is in the office, you may leave your payment in the secure drop box on the door.) Credit & Debit Cards: We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express. To charge by phone, or set up recurring payments please call our office at (808) 329-3440. For Customers Outside the U.S.: PFI cannot accept checks drawn from a foreign bank. Please use only international money orders in U.S. funds. Or charge to your credit card. For Customers with Multiple Accounts: Please make sure to include all account numbers. This is especially important if you are using an online bill payment service. Overdue Payments: Any over due payments are subject to a 1.5% late fee. Rubbish service will be suspended for any accounts that are 14 days over due. If no payment has been made in 90 days, service will be cancelled. To restart service after cancellation any unpaid charges must be paid before service begins and your new billings cycle must be prepaid in advance. If your account is sent to a collection agency a $30.00 fee will be added to your account. Returned Checks: Returned checks are subject to a $15.00 fee. |
